TERVETULOA - WELCOME
Our club has several activities during the year and most importantly we come together to celebrate the major Finnish holidays. The most attended event is Pikkujoulu / Itsenäisyyspäivä in early December where a traditional Finnish Christmas meal will be served. Kalevala Peasoup in late February and a Vappu picnic in early May are the other two main events of the year.
Finlandia Club also participates in the Sacramento Scandinavian Festival in the fall.
We maintain a small library full of books in Finnish, Swedish and English along with movies and documentaries of Finland, and send a bi-monthly newsletters to our members.
